“ This place was great! I was not expecting much upon going into this restaurant because it's quite small, more of a grab and go kinda place. There was no one else in there at lunchtime! So I didn't know what to expect but I didn't let my Google reviews and yelpies lead me astray! I was pleasantly surprised by the combo - soup and lobster roll - for $25! I got the clam chowder and my boyfriend got the lobster bisque. I got the warm Connecticut roll and he had one of the cold rolls. I must say the cold roll is my preferred one out of the two options that we got! Both lobster bisque and clam chowder were excellent. I will be back next time I am in St Pete. Would totally recommend to everyone! So fresh and clean restaurant. ”

“ Placed an online order which was ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes. Staff were friendly, the inside wasn't busy but looked spacious. Spent $26 for the sandwich and soup combo. The Connecticut roll was delicious, super buttery and flavorful. I do wish there was a tad bit more lobster for the price but overall very good. The lobster bisque had good flavor, but would've tasted better with chunks of lobster which can be added for an extra $8. Overall, the entire meal was delicious and the soup and sandwich were a great combo. Can't wait to go back! ”

“ This is the right restaurant in the wrong location. You need to get over the sticker shock because the lobster rolls are $20 plus depending on your choice. On top of that, the atmosphere is only a little better than the sandwich joint it replaced. The service is terrific, and the food is superb. For something less expensive, try the clam chowder or lobster bisque. The outdoor seating is on First Avenue North, not the nicest place. Whenever I'm there the place is almost empty, but despite everything, I'm rooting for them to make it cause no one else in town comes close to the quality of their food. ”

“ I was beyond excited to discover Mason's Lobster in St. Pete, especially since I used to frequent a similar spot in the Bay Area when I lived in California. I couldn't wait to try their lobster rolls, and I was not disappointed! We tried the Connecticut Roll, which was served warm and tossed in butter--absolutely to die for. My husband went for the Lobster BLT Roll, packed with lobster, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, and he loved it. The side of potato salad that came with it was creamy and delicious; I could have happily eaten a whole bowl of that on its own. The experience left me eager to return and try more. The soups looked tempting, and there are several other rolls on the menu that I'm excited to sample. Overall, Mason's Lobster is a fantastic addition to St. Pete's dining scene, and I can't wait to go back! ”

“ The food was good, The service was great & most of all the taste & quality of the lobster & portion/size of the roll were spot on. *My only reservation was that there were a few bits of the shell in my sandwich however the kind gestures of the cook & server made up for that so I tipped & stated I'd be returning. I sat outside (which I should have thought about because it was totally humid out) & I enjoyed my soup & roll combo. I had the Connecticut roll & Lobster Bisque. “ The place was empty on a Saturday at lunchtime, so hopefully they are busier during the week - I want this place to thrive! My friend and I both ordered lobster rolls. I went with the OG lobster roll - just cold lobster in a bun with butter (hold the mayo). It was fresh tasting and delicious, and the bun was surprisingly packed with lobster. It also came served with a generous portion of perfectly cooked tater tots, and a crunchy pickle spear. Not on the menu, but I happened to see it and thus had to order it, was Maryland Crab Soup. This was SO good. I loved that there was plenty of crabmeat in it. Though not inexpensive, the food was wonderful, the counterperson was very friendly, and the restaurant itself was clean and bright. I can't wait to go back! ”
